Don't Score Until You See the Whites of Their Eyes

On a cold day in Tampa, one player decided to warm it up.

Here, former Ohio Mr. Football Ryan Brewer stares down the Ohio State defense as he crosses the goal line during the fourth quarter for one of this three touchdowns during the 2001 Outback Bowl.

Brewer rushed for over 100 yards, had over 200 all-purpose yards and was named the bowl's MVP.

One has to wonder what Ohio State head coach John Cooper was thinking at this point. Cooper did not recruit Brewer, who was the state of Ohio's all-time leading rusher in high school.

PHOTO TIP: See that 21 with the word Carolina on Brewer's jersey? That's the area where you want to aim the auto focus point on your camera. Auto focus systems need details to track the subject. The more details, the faster the auto focus works for you.
