On Sept. 11, 2001 in Athens, Gamecock Stephon Gilmore didn't just pick up fumble, he took the turnover 56 yards, leaving the Bulldogs shaking their heads.
It was the second consecutive season the junior Rock Hill native had a fumble recovery against Georgia.
The Gamecocks offense took advantage of the turnover and scored on the next series with a Stephen Garcia touchdown. South Carolina won 45-42 that day.
Gilmore was a first-round pick in the 2012 draft. (Travis Bell/SIDELINE CAROLINA)
